OT-USB-AUDIO192 is a truly asynchronous USB to I2S/SPDIF digital audio converter capable of streaming 192KHz audio data from high speed USB 2.0 host port running under windows or Mac operating systems to I2S interfaced Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC) and SPDIF receivers. The design uses two fully independent and asynchronous clock domains, USB clock domain and I2S clock domain, to isolate the USB jitter from the output I2S clocks. This type of asynchronous design with Onchip's proprietary firmware resulted in clean and low jitter clock for I2S that is fully independent of USB clock.
Deliverables for reference design includes Schematic diagrams, Gerber files and all associated driver source code.
